The EnGenius ECB-1220R is a 2.4GHz 802.11b/g broadband Wi-Fi Router with advanced AP/Client Bridge/WDS/Repeater functions. So you could implement this crossover device into three applications AP, Client Bridge and Router mode. With leading edge SoC (System-on-Chip) technology, broadband subscribers will experience lightning speed Internet access, easy local connectivity, and rich software application with secure network protection.

The ECB-1220R supports WDS (Wireless Distribution System), and can function as a wireless repeater and is able to wirelessly communicate with other ECB-1220R, ECB-3220 and ESR-1220 routers creating one seamless network. This extends the range/coverage area of the wireless network and can provide remote ethernet connections to the wired LAN.
